“You will be the same person in five years as you are today except for the people you meet and the books you read.”
- Charlie "Tremendous" Jones

Be the person and share the books.

Recently I saw a friend returning a book ( Orthodoxy , by G.K. Chesterton) to a mutual friend of ours; I told him I'd return it, and (on the way) I read it myself. Within one chapter, that book had changed my life, and it remains one of the most profound books I've ever read. If my friend hadn't told me it was his favorite book in the world, I probably would have never read it. Books like that are what make us who we are today. They teach us new things, they show us ourselves, and they help us become better people.

Being a "Book Dragon" means sharing the love of reading with others.

1. Whenever you read a good book, tell at least three people.

2. Keep a second copy of your favorite book to loan to friends.

3. Donate books to your local library.

4. If you see a book on someone's desk, ask them about it - get them talking (you might just learn something)!

"Show me a family of readers, and I will show you the people who move the world."
